NOT KNOWING IS AN IMPERATIVE
Buddha Nature is our own true nature. This no-self identity is something that you were born with. It is the real you. The only way to discover what you already are is to let go of your most precious beliefs, the ones you hold on to the tightest should be the first ones to let go. Maybe the first thing you should dump is the idea that you have a solid self apart from all other selves.
This “Don’t Know Mind” is not an option. It is the path to self-discovery. One must always maintain an open mind. If you think that you know something, then you have already fallen into a trap, which is created by the syntax of language. We pretend there is a knower and a known. Enlightenment is something that you have always known, except there is no knower and nothing to be known.
We mistakenly believe that knowing is something solid and once gained, we own it. Not so, it is only by always holding Don’t Know Mind that we abide within the matrix of wonder.
Knowing is stuck in a feedback loop, always chasing the tail of Don’t Know Mind.
Enlightenment is not necessarily something that you earn or learn. It is something that you already have but you have hidden it from yourself. You have been playing hide and seek with the universe. You are the universe’s way of knowing itself, so get busy.
Another way of knowing is by looking within. Ask big questions. Enlightenment is the road itself, not the destination. You need to know that you are process, you are not a thing.
