Portals, the backlit digital lenticular art installation, has made its way to the Soho Lofts on Las Vegas Boulevard. A captivating display of photomontages of Las Vegas landmarks, neon signs, and classic photographs of the Tropicana Casino and Hotel, the backlit lenticulars offer a unique look at the extravagance of Vegas.
The exhibition is curated by Laura Henkel of ArtCulture PR and is inspired by the Bauhaus movement and Stanford’s interest in Buddhism. With its kaleidoscopic works, the installation at Soho Lofts aims to evoke the extravagance of Las Vegas through traditional photography and experimental digital art.
