City Accessions A Phalanx of Angels Ascending | Las Vegas Gov

The City of Las Vegas accessioned A Phalanx of Angels Ascending into its public art collection. The City acquired The 705 building to widen Las Vegas Boulevard. Recognizing the cultural value of Stanford’s mural inspired by Betty Willis’ Blue Angel, the Cultural Affairs Department of the City wanted to preserve the mural by preserving its imagery.
